Rebecca Curtis (Becky) is a Humane Educator and Animal Care Specialist at ARLNH. She grew up on a farm here in NH, and she has a degree in Teacher Education and Creative Writing. She is passionate about helping both animals and people.

So far, she has taken home two cats from the shelter! A foster fail named Kevin, who was found at about 1-2 days old, and is now a big beautiful long-haired black cat, and another especially sweet little black cat named Baby!  She also has a 6-year-old black DSH named Shirley who was once a feral stray cat.

She loves helping feral, under-socialized, and high-arousal cats, as well as, under-socialized dogs and those in need of extra love and attention. She does not have any dogs of her own so she loves getting some “dog time” in at the shelter. She may qualify under the crazy-cat-lady category, but she loves all animals.
