Lost a Pet?

Losing a pet is a terrifying reality and a pet owner's worst nightmare. We aim to assist you in reuniting with your pet in any way we can.

Please fill out a lost report below and check the found animal reports for potential matches.

In addition to filling out a lost report with us, we also recommend:

  • Contacting local veterinarians, police departments, and other nearby shelters. Lost dogs can be reported to the Granite State Dog Recovery.​

  • Placing ads in the newspaper, posting on social media and hanging flyers.

  • Post on your local town facebook groups, or state wide lost and found groups. If you do not have social media, check if any friends or loved ones may post on your behalf. A few New Hampshire groups are linked here:

  • Submit your pet to lost and found pet online registries.

  • If your pet has a microchip, contact the microchip company to ensure that your contact information is up to date. 

Found a stray?

Please fill out a found report below and check the lost animal reports potential matches.

To report a found animal, please submit a found pet report below. If you find a dog running loose, please contact the non-emergency police number for your local police department.  Found pets can also be reported to local town facebook groups, statewide lost and found groups and online lost and found pet registries.
