Considering adding a cat to your family? You’ve come to the right place!
Please view our adoptable cats below. If you see someone who sparks your interest and who sounds as though it may be a good fit for your family please call us at (603) 472-3647 ext. 201 to discuss further and to potentially set up an appointment to meet (and hopefully adopt!). To learn how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page.
Looking for kittens? With the spay/neuter efforts across the country, the number of kittens in the shelter each year seems to be declining. Though we do still see kittens through the summer and fall months, they are fewer and farther between. Since we are currently closed to the public for visitors and the high demand for kittens, we’ve put together a kitten application. We only accept applications when we have kittens that we are actively looking for homes for. The application asks some basic questions regarding family makeup, and preferences so that when we have a kitten matching that description and suitable for your family we will reach out for a visit and hopefully adoption. We match kittens to applications in the order that we receive them if the preferences and personalities are a fit.
We want to ensure that all potential adopters are provided with care information so you can give your new pet a happy, healthy, and safe home. For more information about cat care, go to our Pet Resources page.
All cats adopted from ARLNH have:
Necessary, age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper and rabies vaccines)
Tested for FELV and FIV
Been spayed or neutered and microchipped
Started on monthly flea prevention
Received dewormings as needed
We encourage you to browse our adoptable cats below and to call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 ext. 201 to speak with a knowledgeable Adoption Counselor.
Thank you for choosing the Animal Rescue League of NH for your new family member.
