Jaimie serves as Animal Care and Community Resource Coordinator where she helps to provide Veterinary Financial Assistance to community members to help happy animals and their families stay together. Jaimie is from Massachusetts but came to the Granite State to attend nearby Saint Anselm College where she graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and Spanish. After six years working to protect public drinking water, she recently completed a master’s degree in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in order to transition her career to her lifelong dream of working with animals. While in the MAPP program, she studied animal welfare and strategies to advocate for better public policy for animals. She is excited to use this knowledge of the human-animal bond to support the well-being of animals and their people via the Companion Animal Assistance Fund (CAAF).
While she’s passionate about the environment and protecting wildlife, she admittedly considers herself to be somewhat of an “indoor cat” whose ideal evening includes curling up with her best girl Bowie (pictured–usually not as grumpy as she looks) enjoying a good book or video game, and catching a show on Broadway when she can.
