In 2004, Lambie Pie Wiepert, a Greyhound, contracted and died from Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.  Since then, her human mom Tina has made it her mission to help dogs at the shelter in need of medical care and tick prevention.  Each year, Ms. Wiepert holds an online auction and her dedication to the memory of Lambie has assisted her in raising several thousand dollars for the medical care of the animals at the League through the years.

This year the Lambie's Smile Auction will be held from August 4th through the 10th.  This is a sneak peek of some of the items that will be up for auction this year.  A full list will be available through the auction site at the beginning of August along with the auction link for you to start your bidding.  A list of the items is also on Ms. Wiepert's site, http://www.freewebs.com/3nofleas/
