  Humane Education

The League values the human-animal bond and we recognize that public education is at the core of our mission.  We have a substantial volunteer program where kids and adults ages 14 and older can learn about the League and provide valuable assistance to the animals. Click here for more information.

For children under 14 years or for groups, we provide tours of the facility to discuss our programs and services.  Is your Girl Scout troop or school group hoping to do a donation drive for the animals?  We will give you important tips and information and provide a tour once the drive is completed.  The League also partners with a pet therapy group to provide visits to local agencies when we have available teams.

Don’t forget to check out our TV show, For Pet’s Sake!

Finally, if you would like to be on our general mailing list we send e-newsletters that have both information about the Animal Rescue League and information relevant to animal welfare.  Please send your information to:  events@rescueleague.org
